The auction house can be accessed by typing /ah or /auctionhouse, which will open up the main auction GUI. Starting from the top left of the GUI will be the newest (most recently listed) items. Hovering over an item will reveal its name, any enchantments or special properties, the seller, and the price. The auction GUI will appear like so:
To change the sorting of the items in the auction GUI, left click the sunflower on the center bottom of the GUI.
In order to purchase an item, left click it. This will take you to a confirmation page where you can check the quantity and price to be sure you want to and are able to afford the item.
If you wish to continue, click the green glass on the left. Otherwise, click the red class on the right.
You will receive a notification in chat summarizing the transaction.
To sell an item on the auction house, simply hold it (in the intended quantity) in your hand and type /ah sell <price>. For example, to sell 32 bread for $3200, you would place it into your hand and type /ah sell 3200.
To view your listings, click the diamond on the bottom right of the auction GUI. Hovering over an item will show its price. To cancel a listing, left click the item(s) and they will reappear in your inventory (make sure you have enough space to accept them). To view previously sold items and their buyers, click the golden ingot on the bottom right of the GUI. To sort listings, click the sunflower. To return, click the metal door on the bottom left.
Items expire seven days after being listed on the auction. Once they expire, they are removed from the auction GUI but do not disappear. They can be found by clicking the poisonous potato on the bottom left of the listings GUI (which, again, is found by clicking the diamond in the auction GUI). Clicking an item in the expired GUI will return it to your inventory.
If a player purchases an item from you, you will receive a notification in chat and the money will be instantly added to your balance.
